About 7:40 p.m. Saturday, the Lakewood man and his passenger, a 29-year-old woman from Oakville in Grays Harbor County, were headed east on state Route 16 at Burley Olalla Road.

Troopers say the Lakewood man was towing a trailer that was too large and heavy for his vehicle’s tow capacity. He then lost control and both the car and trailer rolled onto the side, blocking the eastbound lanes of SR 16.

The man and woman also fled from the scene, but were later located by Washington State Patrol aviation.
