A 325 sq metre LED screen from SNA Displays has been mounted on the facade of Hewlett Packard Enterprise’s global headquarters in Texas.

The 12mm large-format EMPIRE Exterior display is processing nearly 2.3 million pixels.

The installation marks the latest phase in the implementation of a digital signage network by technology integration company i.e.Smart Systems. The project has involved the installation of a range of interior direct-view and outdoor LEDs from SNA Displays, which provide dynamic content such as immersive experiences, and workplace and client information.

Jeff Vinklarek, senior vice-president at i.e.Smart Systems, said:  “The client procured motorised projection technology for the outdoor display enhancement, but after the indoor phase, they opted for a design that also included large-format LED. While the projection technology is still set up and utilised for special events, the dvLED is always available, always bright and always stable in the environment.”

SNA Displays’ executive vice-president, Jason Helton, said:  “Stepping on to HPE’s Houston campus and being greeted by such a large and striking video canvas forges a powerful first impression. It creates a high-tech ambiance and lets visitors and employees know, without question that they are entering a cutting-edge environment.”
