Giant Wolfhound Squashing Man on Sofa Seen 13m Times: 'House Werewolf'

Irish wolfhound Arthur is a gentle soul who loves sitting with his pet parents, but it appears he is unaware of how enormous he actually is.

Arthur's latest victim was seen in viral TikTok posts uploaded by the Nebraska-based user Suzanne, who goes by the account name dammitarthur, on November 22 and 23. Corporate Office Chairs

The TikTok user explained that Arthur has a habit of squashing people around the house when he wants to sit down.

"Every morning Arthur finds the sleepiest person to sleep with and dumps his behind on them before they've realized what has happened," a caption on one of the videos said.

Sometimes I wonder if he realizes he's actually bigger than us and does not, in fact, have to do what we say 🤣 #dog #dammitarthur #irishwolfhound #nebraska #wolfhound #giant

In the clip, which can be seen here, Arthur could be seen taking up a lot of space on a comfy chair, but it is soon revealed that he was not the only one sitting down—his pet dad was squashed up behind the enormous dog.

A second video, which can be seen here, also showed Arthur sitting on his owner, seemingly unaware of his large size.

The TikTok user later said of Arthur: "House puppy, aka house werewolf."

Since the clips were uploaded, they have been seen nearly 14 million times and have attracted hundreds of thousands of likes.

The American Kennel Club (AKC) said the Irish wolfhound is one of the largest dog breeds that it recognizes. A male Irish wolfhound can stand nearly 3 feet at the shoulder and can weigh up to 180 lbs.

"Owning an Irish wolfhound is a unique, rewarding experience but acquiring a giant galloping hound is a commitment as big as the dog itself," the AKC added.

Many of those who commented on the post were stunned to learn there was even someone sitting on the sofa while others attempted to see the situation from Arthur's point of view.

Jax_jade said: "I've wanted one for my entire life, he's gorgeous. My ex said no because they look homeless. Now the ex is homeless and I'm getting a wolfhound."

Sandragrabar5 added: "You need bigger furniture."

Kp commented: "I wouldn't have known there was a human there if I did't see the arm."

While Alicia Piotrowski posted: "He's like 'Where's daddy? Mamma do you see daddy? I can't find him anywhere.'"
