The labeling on this one is mysterious, and I couldn't find much about it. But this is apparently a concept for a flashlight that doubles as a wireless lamp--and it was either done by Industrial Design student Daniel Vu Nguyen while studying at CCA, or was on display at Sweden's Ingvar Kamprad Design Center at Lund University's School of Industrial Design.

A humongous flashlight that doubles as an incredibly unstable and limited use desk lamp.... oh and it has a fragile and complex hinge system. How is this an improvement on anything we have today? The end result doesn't even seem like a useful product..... I love the enthusiasm for design but we don't need to see every student project that comes across your desk.
